Still, mountains rumble and quake

Quiet forest howls the breeze I face

And a long road whispers your name

Under a starlit night,

Till my dreams reach you.

I stop and beg the moment to be still.

I thought I heard your voice in the morning chill,

Lay quiet my love

I’ll watch over you

Like the morning dove

Love you with my lips,

My mouth,

My tongue,

My hands’ caress,

My heart loves

Prayers pleasure most sacred

Communion sensual bitter waters

Pour over flesh and time

Deconstruct and pour into the ocean a mist and glow.

I can make rose petals blush

Tulips sweat and glisten

But the glitter in the smile of those blue eyes

Crush the breath from me.

The grace of things that were,

Have faded into a box of memories,

Paled with the breath of time.

Oblivion sank in and everything became naught,

Those things once in our grasp now clutch thin air

Breathless we grasp at our loss

And angels are abandoned at this fair.
